Notion as infrastructure, not decoration
We came to Matthias with a real estate family office that had outgrown its storage and CRM systems — multiple entities, a fiduciary role, and years of contacts, documents, and deals in too many places. We did not want a prettier to-do list; we wanted a single source of truth the team could run the business from.
That is what he built: a Notion workspace tying our contacts, companies, areas of focus, ideation, opportunities, projects, emails, and tasks into one connected system, with the automation behind it — Google Drive and Google Contacts feeding in, important mail triaged into place with minimal effort. It holds up under daily use (we file emails and spin up follow-ups several times a week, and nothing breaks), and we have since layered AI workflows on top.
The work is ongoing. As the tools evolve — fast, and accelerating — he and his team keep guiding us deeper into AI, and we have already pivoted more than once to keep pace.
What I valued most came first: they spent real time with us on where Notion is genuinely strong and where it is not, then built for how we actually work rather than to a template. The result feels like ours, which is the whole point.
He thinks in architecture, not quick fixes — clearly qualified for larger, sophisticated engagements. If you are serious about Notion as infrastructure rather than decoration, Matthias and his team are the people to build it.D
